Engineering Overview
Kurita Cetamine® revolutionizes boiler treatment by replacing conventional solid salt conditioning (phosphates, sulphites, caustic) with volatile film-forming polyamines. By maintaining a hydrophobic protective film, it stifles corrosion and scale while allowing boiler blowdown to be reduced dramatically.
Target Applications:
•Industrial Steam Boilers & Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG)
•District Heating & Closed Hot Water Circuits
•Food & Pharmaceutical Clean Steam Networks
•Turbine Condenser Preservation
Key Engineering Benefits:
Comprehensive corrosion protection across the entire steam-water cycle
Blowdown reduction up to 50%, saving significant fuel and softened water
Zero salt contribution to boiler water TDS
Preserves equipment during operational standby and dry/wet layup
